"I have a belief there are many elements that create a singer, not only the possession of an attractive voice! Australia has a rich and diverse arts environment however; it is not solely guided by the traditional "European system". A singer needs to be flexible, versatile and open to new repertoire. I believe a teacher and mentor should aim to produce a singer who can work in Australia and internationally in a variety of musical and theatrical styles. This is the focus of my studio and my personal aim: to be a singer and produce singers who sing with a love of what they are creating, who sing with healthy voice, are open to all styles of music and have a passion for diverse performance practice of the highest standard.
